Jump River is a scenic rural community located in western Taylor County. It borders the Chequamegon National Forest and is close to the Chequamegon Waters, Pershing Wildlife Refuge, Perkinstown Winter Sports Area , and the Mondeaux Dam Recreation area.
We are able to offer a bounty when it comes to recreation. Snowmobiling, cross country skiing, canoeing, swimming, fishing, hunting, hiking, and biking are yours to enjoy. If you are really adventurous, you might try tubing or rafting down the Jump River.
We have a beautiful village park with a playground and pavilion located along the scenic Jump River. An ideal spot for picnics, camping, and a whole lot of relaxation.
